I still think it's ridiculous that Microsoft did away with the midsize business license and replaced it with a watered down version called business premium, because there is nothing premium about it compared to the midsize business license. I used this to activate my office 2016 pro plus licenses on my terminal servers. When shared computer activation came out I switched my terminal servers to O365. I kept up with the annual license renewal for that copy of office and today because Microsoft forced us off of Midsize businessĪnd since shared computer activation is not available in business premium, I have to use that copy of office on my terminal servers. Back before O365 had shared computer activation, in the days of midsize business, I was told by Microsoft and my reseller to buy 1 volume license copy of Office 2013\2016 and O365 Business will not run on a terminal server. Can anyone confirm whether this Business Edition can be run on a terminal server? Do I need ProPlus? I did not use an XML configuration during install. I am getting the Terminal server message after installing Office 365 Business 2016.
